Hi Aiden
ReplyDeleteWow you have nearly completed the whole alphabet...maybe for J you could use the word journey, as the soldiers were on a journey to fight for our country. What do you think?

Mōrena Aiden,
ReplyDeletethis is a really good attempt at completing your ANZAC ABC chart. Thank you for sharing it to the blog. I like how you included some of the countries that ANZAC soldiers fought in like Turkey and Egypt. Did you know that in WW1 that Turkey was known as the Ottoman Empire?

Hi Aiden,
ReplyDeleteFantastic thinking here to come up with so many words in the ANZAC Alphabet list. Volunteer is an interesting word. Lots and lots of people volunteered to join the armed forces to fight in the wars but in the World Wars we also had conscription where people over the age of 18 were called up to serve. Do you think this was fair?
